Biography:

Nicole grew up in a beautiful coastal city in eastern China. Her father, a sculptor, has influenced her from an early age. She completed her formal art training at the University of Qingdao in the Department of Fine Arts. After graduation, she worked as an exhibition designer at Qingdao Municipal Museum.

In 2003, she immigrated to Canada with her family. To support her family, she first worked at an international freight forwarding company, but later decided to pursue her dream of being able to paint the beautiful coastlines of BC as well as the natural beauty of nature. Now she is able to paint in her home studio and at the same time set up an art gallery to introduce talented artists from China to Canada.

She lives with her husband and daughter in Burnaby,British Columbia and now is a member of Burnaby Artists Guild.
